Coastal Connect Counselling provides professional couples counselling and individual relationship counselling services on the Gold Coast and via telehealth Australia-wide.

Founded by Carlene Prentice, Coastal Connect Counselling supports individuals and couples experiencing relationship strain, communication difficulties, emotional distance, separation, family conflict, and major life transitions. With a background in family law and years of experience supporting people through emotionally demanding situations, Carlene offers counselling in a calm, practical, and non-judgemental environment focused on helping clients think more clearly, communicate more effectively, and move through difficult situations with greater stability and confidence.

Couples counselling sessions draw on Gottman Method principles, a research-based approach developed through decades of relationship research. Sessions focus on communication patterns, conflict management, emotional connection, and reducing cycles of escalation and repetition within relationships. Counselling is designed for couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and better understand one another in a supportive and structured environment.

Individual counselling supports people navigating relationship uncertainty, separation, divorce, family change, emotional overwhelm, grief, stress, and difficult decision-making. Sessions are designed to reduce emotional intensity and create space for reflection, clarity, and healthier responses during periods of uncertainty and transition.

Appointments are available in person on the Gold Coast and online via secure telehealth across Australia. No referral is required.
